Perfect for our needs

We recently remodeled our kitchen and I searched for hours online for the perfect barstool. After I finally decided on this style, I found they were available at several sites, but Amazon.com had the best price AND free shipping! I love their modern styling, and my husband assembled them in literally about 5 minutes. While I realize they may not last forever at this price, they were inexpensive enough that I won't feel bad if I need to replace them a few years down the road. But for now they look great and are also comfortable, so I am very pleased with my choice.

looks awesome but impossible to sit on!

I saw this product online and it looked awesome. It looks just as good in real life. Bad news now - it's impossible to sit on this without sliding off(unless you wear wet leather pants always - which I don't ). I will try to post a video so you can easily see what I mean. If someone knows a way to make this usable pls let me know else I will be returning this next week for a full refund.

nice watch, great precision, cool movement

This is a very nice watch: the case, dial, and bracelet are of excellent quality.The "precisionist" movement is both very precise and very cool.In more than two weeks I have owned it, I cannot detect even a fraction of a second difference from the atomic clock. (I can now believe the claimed precision of better than 10s per year.) (I have another watch with a claimed 10s/year claimed precision, but that one gains one second in two weeks... A Pulsar PSR10 for those interested.)The movement of the second hand is quite cool, reminding (but more fluid than) a mechanical watch. (Plus there is no "quartz" written on the dial.)One thing to be aware of: this is a pretty large watch - 44mm case diameter. (Amazon seems confused here.) But it sits nicely on the wrist, due to the watch's curved design.

MUCH nicer in person!

I spent a month looking for the right watch. I checked out Citizen, Seiko, Tissot, Victorinox, seemingly all of them. My budget was $500, and there were quite a few around that amount that I almost purchased. But when the time came to stop researching and actually buy one, I decided on this watch, mainly because of the lower price and because I'd briefly seen one in person at Macy's and thought it looked pretty good.Now that I have the watch on my wrist, I couldn't be more pleased. The pictures don't do the dial justice. Whereas the photos make the numbers look flat and boring, they are actually raised slightly from the small boxes they sit in. As with all Precisionists, the second hand smoothly rotates rather than tick tick ticks. The band seems sturdy and the watch has a nice solid feel. It is indeed a large watch, but not quite as big as I had anticipated. In fact, I tried on some Fossil watches at their store and some of them were much larger than this watch. The crystal is slightly curved at the top and bottom to accomodate the size of the watch face.All in all, the watch has a clean modern look, feels well built and solid, and looks fantastic on my wrist. Definitely recommended.

I have a few vintages that I adore and want handy access to get to quickly. This was the perfect rack for stacking these bottles up - and what a nice touch that it looks great too! It is sturdy once assembled and the table surface is great for decanting and pouring.

Great product, but doesn't hold many types of glasses

I recently received this rack and am happy to say that it is of very high quality for the price paid. Also, unlike many other wine racks, it has no problem holding the more squat wine bottles out there. Unfortunately the slots for the stemware are on the small side, so our champagne flutes and smallest wine glasses fit, our larger glasses did not. Bear in mind that our large glasses are not the now-popular 'cabernet style' monsters. These are just typical wine glasses we're talking about here.Luckily the spacing of the supports left about 1/2 in of clearance on either side of the slots, so i simply unscrewed the two outer slots and drilled new holes 1/2" over to accommodate two rows of the glasses with the wider bases. Problem solved, but I don't see why they didn't design it that way to begin with. the champagne flutes fit in the bigger slots just fine, but the small slots only fit champagne flutes :)

Awesome!

This rack is about the best you can get for the money...it's sturdy, looks nice, and has held up well for me full of bottles...only note I would advise is that the glass holders will not fit big cab style wine glasses, but will fit majority of other types. Regardless, it's a nice piece for I bought it for...holding wine!

Own it! Love it!

I watched the sale price come and go on this model at the department store for the several months now and it has never gone below $350. When I saw it on Amazon for less than $200, you better believe I hit the add to cart button and had it on the UPS truck before they realized their mistake! ;) I have worn this watch daily since November and so far not a scratch! Just enough "Wow" without the girly "BLING".Note: A search for this model on this web would have one believe there are two different watches with the same model number: 1) Silver with silvertone stick indices 2) Silver with a subtle brown tint on the hands and indices. It is the same watch, it varies ever so slightly in different lighting conditions.

nice loafer

Great Watch!

I just got this watch and think it is excellent. I would have happily paid double of what I paid on Amazon for this watch. It is a dressier looking watch, but can also be worn casually with jeans. The pictures really don't do it justice as it looks a LOT better in person. I was on the fence from the previous reviews, but now that I bought it I can say that I am very satisfied. I hope this helped with your decision.

Great watch for the price, don't buy if you have a small arm!

I was searching for a new watch, and this one was my "first choice". Unfortunately, I talked myself out of it, thinking that it was a small watch (looking at the pictures of it on Amazon, the face appears small in comparison to the size of the band), and purchased a Citizen watch instead. When it arrived, it had scratches on the band, so I took the opportunity to send it back and purchase this one instead.This one arrived and I was a bit shocked at the size. The band is actually a lot wider than what I'd call a traditional men's dress watch, which means the face itself is actually a good size. I'm 6'1" tall, medium build, this watch looks "solid" on my arm. If you're smaller in size, this watch would definitely be too big for you.Having worn it for a couple days now, here are some pro's and con's for the watch:PROS:1) It's solid. Very solid. You definitely won't feel like you're going to break it.2) The black face with the slight pattern looks nice. It's not too distracting, but does add character to the watch.3) The chrono feature is a nice way to display the day of the week, the day of the month, and the 24 hour time equivalent.4) It's water resistant up to 30 meters, so no worry about getting it wet! (Note: This number may not actually be correct. It's listed as 30m on the Amazon listing though another reviewer says that the manual doesn't list it as 30m resistant.)5) It's classy enough to wear to work with a tie, but casual enough to wear with jeans and a polo.6) The price is excellent. I purchased at $169.15, while local jewelry stores were selling the same model for $289.CONS:1) It's a heavy watch (stainless steel band and case) so you'll definitely notice it on your arm. It may in fact be the heaviest watch I've ever owned (even heavier than the Fossil chrono I had a few years back).2) While I do like the three chrono dials, they can be somewhat difficult to read in low light situations. Of course, this isn't a big deal - how many times do you find yourself in a movie theatre, wondering if it's Monday the 26th or Tuesday the 27th?3) Speaking of low light, there is no "glow in the dark" on this watch. If it's pitch black, you're NOT going to read this watch.A couple of other notes. It doesn't have a perpetual motion second hand, but it's also NOT a precisionist model watch, so don't expect that if it's what you're looking for. It's also battery powered, so you'll eventually have to replace that once it wears down (no movement or solar charging on this one).All in all, I'm very pleased with this watch. It's a great buy if you're looking for a watch you can wear for work and play.UPDATE: 6 months later, I'm still loving this watch. I've gotten used to the larger size and weight. And surprisingly, after having worn it nearly every day since I got it, there are no scratches on the face (which is unheard of considering how rough I am on watches). If you're on the fence, definitely give this one a shot!

Handsome, versatile watch

Initially I considered sending it back as the watch felt very large and heavy at first. After procrastinating on the return for a while, I decided to give it another shot. I am glad I did. After 15 minutes I was in love with it. It is a very handome watch; looks even better on the wrist than in the marketing photos. It is also quite versatile; works very well within the full range of formal to casual.

I would recommend this product to others. my bird loves the cage. a little difficult to put together but not bad. the only thing I did not like about the product is how the bottom of the cage is made. you take the tray out and there is nothing but open space where my bird can get out. just need to make sure the cage is on a flat service so the bottom is closed and your bird can not escape. that is what I do.

Complicated Clasp, but overall a beautiful watch

I ordered this watch for my mom and when it arrived i was excited to see what it looked like. In person the watch is beautiful with its polished style, but it had one flaw, the clasp is very complicated to open. although this hidden clasp makes it look more formal i noticed it was very difficult to remove on your own without fear of ruining the watch or in a girl's case breaking a nail. If you like the hidden clasp style watch it is a great buy for you but unfortunately i was disappointed by its design. I returned it shortly after.

I bought this cosplay for Halloween, and I must say that I am pretty impressed- it actually was made with real fabric, not the fluffy nylon or shiny material that most cosplays are made out of. In fact, the black skirt looks like a normal schoolgirl skirt that I modify some of my outfits with it in. It's pretty suitable for normal wear.I also have to say the buttons and all the accessories make this cosplay really realistic. Even though this cosplay did not come with a sizing chart, I fit the cosplay perfectly. Thee only thing that didn't come with the outfit were shoes and thigh-high socks.I do have to say that even though it looks pretty realistic, the cosplay isn't totally immune to wear and tear- a button fell off after I pranced around in it for Halloween. However, it was pretty easy to sow on and the coat was pretty warm to wear, which was a plus. :)

Please DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE SHOWERING REVIEWER SAYS. Any idiot knows that you're not supposed to shower with a watch, not because of the water but because of the HUMIDITY. That loosens up the glass on any watch whether it's a Patek Philippe, Movado or Bulova. I personally was ripped off because I paid $250 for this watch at Lord & Taylor, but after having had it now for a year and a half it's still incredibly perfect. The best part is how closely is sits to my arm-- it's not hitting other things or too chucky or anything. Its as if my wrist somehow just tells the time. It's stunning and I get so many compliments.
