Brenthaven is the BEST!

Bought an earlier version of this bag in 2002 and travelled the world and it has been great. Very functional and extremely well made. After 8.5 years, the top handle started to tear and the fabric attached to it opened to about 3 inches and started to shred near the tear. BUT . . . with their lifetime warranty, I made a claim even though I could not find my original receipt (in storage). They said they could not repair it and gave me an 80% discount on my next purchase.I had already bought the much improved 2011 version. So with the discount, I bought another for only 20% of the cost and am giving it to my niece. They just blew me away with how readily they stayed true to their word.I had the backpack before. But with the wheeled case ( I already received the one I bought), it's a lot less wear and tear on the joints walking around large terminals. This bag also has room for two large computers, both protected very well, and a lot more personal storage space, I always carry a change of clothes when traveling across the world and my much smaller backpack could get packed full with all my electronics (iPhone/iPad/Kindle/multiple hard drives/laptop/cords/etc.) this bag has a lot more room. And the two side pockets are much improved in location and functionality.This bag is a good value at full retail price. Any price less than that is an absolute steal. You pay for quality and you get quality. Regards.

Nice, but too heavy for my liking

I have a 17" Macbook Pro, and have had trouble finding a good bag that fits. I wanted a wheeled case for those trips where walking long sprints through airport terminals gets tiring. This bag has great reviews and the warranty is superb.It has a super convenient design, allowing you to easily whip your computer out of a zippered area from the top, without much effort. It also has a nice feature that allows you to leave your computer in the bag and zip the compartment away to lie flat on the TSA conveyer belt. It's got nice pockets.My problem (and it's mainly my problem I realize) is that the bag is the size of a regular carryon. That's not what I was looking for. I looked at the measurements before purchasing, and comparing it to my regular carryon, I thought it would be smaller, and lighter. It's actually heavier than my normal carryon even when empty. While it's super convenient in design, it's just too big and too heavy. Also, the pull-out handle is very short. This is not the best situation for someone tall.If you don't mind a heavy case, or plan on taking your regular carryon to the plane with you, then you'll probably like this. Rockwell 12V Drill/Driver set

I bought the Rockwel 12V Drill/Driver set from Amazon for $145. I replaced an old 18V drill, because I got tired of paying $70 for new batteries about once a year. The Rockwell comes with a lifetime free replacement on the batteries. I called the company to find out what you have to do to get replacement batteries and was told you have to mail them your old batteries and pay shipping for the new batteries. They said shipping and handling would be $6.71 to Arizona. The customer service center is located in North Carolina.So far I love these new tools. They are not as bulky as an 18V drill and are a lot lighter. They fit in the hand comfortably. The 12V lithium batteries fully charge in 30 minutes. They both have lights that come on when you pull the trigger. The driver is an impact with a quick release bit holder and the drill has an adjustable clutch.After three weeks of occasional use without charging they still have plenty of power. I screwed two 3 1/2" #9 screws (the largest I had on hand) through two 2×4's with no problem with both the driver and the drill.The drill only has a 3/8" chuck, so twist bits larger than 3/8" have to have a stepped down shank.

Nice Drill Set for the Weekend Handyman

I saw these originally at one of those big box home centers. I liked their heft, feel and operation. However, what really sold me was the lifetime battery program. I can't tell you how many times I would attempt to use my old cordless drill only to find it "dead". Additionally, since it was a NiCd battery it usually meant a long charge time or worse yet, no charge at all. These batteries charge quickly and retain their charge longer since they are Li batteries. I hope that I never need to replace the batteries. Sort of the same wish I had for my snow-thrower. The first order arrived damaged as the trigger on the drill was broken in transit. The box they arrived in was perfect, but I believe the battery charger which was loose in the package, hit and crushed the trigger. Amazon replaced the whole set in one day and emailed me a pre-paid return shipping label. That's great customer service!

Great Product!

Rockwell RK1001K2 12-Volt LithiumTech 2-Tool Combo KitExcellent tools. I would definitely buy this product again. Selling point for me was the "Batteries for Life" promo - will have to wait & see how that works out when / if I finally need it.Absolutely love these tools - battery life is great & charge time is short. Impact gun has plenty of power. Only thing I see so far that I would improve would be to add a clip on the sides of the tools to be able to easily hang them from my pocket or belt when I can't easily lay them down (The comparable Porter Cable tools have such a clip).

This garment bag is exactly what I was looking for. Compared to the garment bag I had for several years from buying a suit at a large retail chain, this bag has a better/heavier zipper and is made of stronger more durable nylon. This bag is large enough to hold several (maybe 4-6) suits with dress shirts and is perfect for keeping a suit clean in your closet, hanging in your car, or hanging in the garment closet on a plane. I expect this garment bag to last several years.

Great Impact for the Money!!

I have owned it for about 2 months now, and love it. You can't beat the lifetime battery replacement, and the two year tool warranty exceeds most other manufacturers. It has great power and I have found myself knocking out my wife's list of honey-do's. I easily removed some older screws from my deck to replace a couple boards, that my 18-volt cordless drill gave-up on. Hands-down a great impact for the price.

The bag will serve its purpose and its large enough for all of my crap!! I love it. It smells like PLASTIC, and i hope that goes away but I can deal with that. I paid more for shipping than I did for the bag. But I would have paid $10. Overall its a good purchase. And it came quicker than anticipated!

Light and Powerful

I recently decided to replace some rotting trim with Azek (i.e. PVC) trim board using the Cortex Fastening System. The fastener recommeded using an 18 volt heavy duty impact driver to properly countersink the screws. This drill is rated at 12 volt and 210 ft-lbs of torque...which makes it more of a medium duty drill. I placed the drill in low gear at maximum torque and had absolutely no problem countersinking the screws to their appropriate depth which was almost halfway into the 3/4" board. This drill has plenty of power! It's also extremely lightweight and not bulky at all. I had my doubts about this drill but no more.

Nice little drill

I bought this drill as a driver for cabinet assembly and installation. The main attraction was its size and the "free batteries for life" offer. The little batteries are indeed surprisingly potent. I haven't run one dry in a day's work yet. The free for life thing will take a while to evaluate. The construction doesn't seem as solid as my Panasonics but it is much smaller and lighter. My only real complaint so far is that the variable speed trigger is not very sensitive but I am used to the smooth action of the Panasonic (after all it is half the Panasonic's price). For a DIY user it ought to be a great little drill

Poor old Bob, what did he do to deserve these beatings?

I use my Bob XL as part of my cardio fitness routine. It's very easy to raise your heart rate with fast punches and combos to poor old Bob.Mine is located in the garage and is filled with sand and then when i couldn't fit any more sand in i topped off with water. Took a good 2 hours to fill with sand due to the small fill cap, would have been easier if i had had dry, free flowing sand.It is extremely heavy, i can barely push it along the floor so i wouldn't recommend it if you need to regularly move it out of the way.I weigh 215 lbs, can bench 315lbs and I can't get it to budge with hard punches. It sits on a concrete floor, may be different on a polished wood surface.I recommend this model over the standard Bob, it's heavier and has more target areas to hit.I would advise wearing bag mitts when hitting Bob with any force, especially due to the moulding of the face it is easy to bruise knuckles.If you are into martial arts/boxing then nothing can replace a decent heavy punch bag for developing punch power but for average hitters like myself or for those who need a quality fitness workout then the Bob Xl comes highly recommended!

I searched the Internet for weeks looking for a freestanding punch bag, I wanted a human shaped bag because it allowed me to practice strikes to vital areas of the body, one of my friends has a human shaped bag made of hard plastic which hurts a lot when you punch it and I was a little worried this bag would be the same.I checked out some You Tube clips of the Bob bag and it looked really good so I made a purchase, the Bob bag arrived in 4 days. The Bob bag is very broad like a heavyweight boxer, much wider than I expected, when you stand face to face with Bob psychologically because of its size, build and angry face it feels more like you are going into a fight with someone way more powerful than you, which I guess at 6 feet and 300 pounds with no fat would be true.Bobs skin is really weird, it does not feel like rubber but feels very similar to human flesh, it's soft like ballistics gel but flexes like rubber,it doesn't have the horrible dirty rubber smell, Bobs muscles are also really weird, I thought from the photos they were just little indentations but its a full mold with the muscle sticking out very realistically like someone had just painted a bodybuilder pink. When my dog first saw Bob he thought it was real person, starting barking at it and biting its torso,so he wasn't the only dummy in the room but once he got a sniff he knew it was real.Bob was comfortable enough for me to punch without the gloves and I am not a boxer. I adjusted Bob to the full 6 feet in height and one thing that I thought was great is that the dummy doesn't rattle as the torso fits perfectly into the stand.The gloves that came with bob had gel filled knuckles; they look cheap but are very comfortable and allow your hands to breath in long work outs.The first time I stood bob up I just had to lay into him, I struck his nose which moves with the strike, and it doesn't chip or warp, when you punch him in the stomach you can feel the strike be absorbed by the surrounding material, its exactly like the density and feel of striking a real torso and doesn't have any nasty screws or hard pieces inside to break your hand.I gave Bob an uppercut to his chin, I expected his head to fly backwards but it moves back only slightly, just like it does on a real person. I decided to then choke him with a rear naked choke, by then I was just having so much fun strangling him I just started laughing at the way his head bends.Kicks to Bob were easy, the base doesn't get in the way so you don't get caught when you move in close, so if you like kicking you're in luck, the fact that bob has no legs wasn't a problem at all if you're really picky about it you can just wrap the base with pillows.The XL bob comes with the groin; it's just a pair of shorts not a separate attachment, not that type of doll. The Groin area is great for practicing knee kicks, useful if someone strong grabs you.I read that Bob tends to tip over when you punch him, this is generally because some people shove when they punch, anyway I filled my Bob with rocks and placed a rubber bath mat under the stand this way Bob is really heavy and doesn't mark the floor. I can punch Bob, choke him and even try and take him down to the ground.Because of Bobs light colour he gets dirty, it's not a problem because of his smooth surface dirt doesn't stick well to him, washing him with a cloth and water does the trick every time.I am really glad I purchased Bob. Overall really great fun, a weird item in a good way, I had a good laugh with this. I tend to be really picky about things but this is one of those products that you buy and recommend to everyone.

Great training partner

I own two of these BOB's (Body Opponent Bag) one BOB & one BOB XL. They are great to practice striking specific areas of the body at full power and speed. BOB is a great addition to the heavy bag or better yet Muay Thai bag that every martial artist should own and practice techniques against.The BOB XL allows strikes to the upper leg area with kicks, knees and batons for police academy recruit training. The only limit is working the body all the way around 360 degrees, you can not work the rear body, but can work the rear of the head for chokes and strikes.

Despite this little device being launched on a 932 cubic foot homemade hot air balloon powered by Tiki torches, which after reaching an altitude of 730 feet, caught fire and dropped the camera (along with the burners) into a 200' conifer, in a rain-forest, in the Pacific Northwest, during the month of February, and then not being found for another three months until after being blown out out the tree during a major windstorm and then randomly "stumbled upon" while laying on the forest floor, on the side of a ravine...I pressed the power/control button...it came on!I hooked it up to the computer...and downloaded an hour of aerial footage including; a fire, a crash, and my search party.It still takes video..."We report, you decide."

Small Package, Big Results

I purchased this video cam for a special project that I couldn't use my regular video camera for. The sound quality is outstanding. In well lit ares and day light, the picture quality is absolutely amazing. However, the quality is kind of grainy in night light or dimly lit areas. This little video camera is absolutely amazing. It records up to 2-hrs, no problem. I put it on my dash board and recorded as I drove, the video was unbelievable. I absolutely love it. So worth the $88 I spent on it.

fun little camera with limitations

First of all, I am a bit nuts to use this camera for surfing. This is my second failed attempt!!! My first was an Oregon Scientific ATC 3K that was heavy and bouncy and got ripped off my head by a big wave!! The POV has an even worse head attachment and I had to use a homemade jerry-rigged contraption wrapped around my head!!!Also, There is almost no control on this thing and the minute its on, it starts recording. The biggest problem is that if you want it to be waterproof, you have to replace the rear cap with the silent cap, ie no sound. Well, I forgot and after one wipeout, the camera got water logged and died!So why the four stars? Because despite all of this, it is a good device. It is tiny and weighs nothing. Before surfing, I did some test videos and it was cool (no high def or anything but clear images). Also, after letting it sit for a day, I connected it to my mac and managed to download the video of me surfing!! very fun video up to the doomed wipeout! The camera won't power on but it works as a storage device (I Now have an $88 four gig thumb drive.)Compared to the ATC 3K, it was a lot lighter and smaller and I am almost tempted to get another one and try again. But then again, Surfing should be a spiritual exercise not reality TV!!
