Wonderful bed, but a bear to assemble

This is a high-quality bed, extremely heavy and even nicer than pictured. I should mention, though, that it's not simple to assemble. It took my husband and I 8 hours and it was helpful that my hands are small because some of the screws required placement where there was little room to maneuver. We're very happy with the bed, which adds elegance and serenity to our bedroom.

Not worth the expense.....

I purchased this bed because I liked the look of it. It has the modern/Zen look that I was looking for. Starting with the assembly. It wasn't too bad. My sister and I put the bed together in 6 hours approximately. The instructions were not very clear & we had to disassemble the bed a couple of times but finally got it put together. Make sure you have the pieces facing the right direction so that you don't have to disassemble. It's as pain in the neck. After assembly, the bed looks very nice. Sleek... just like the picture. However after 1 week of sleeping in the bed I have already noticed a dent on the side panel where my remote control had fallen from the bed. I am very anal about taking care of my things. I didn't know that something so small dropping less than a foot would make a dent but it did. I should have done more research on MDF and purchased the solid wood bed I initially saw at Boconcept. This material is very cheap, dent and scratch easily and way overly priced. If going to spend this much on a bed I would recommend you spend a few more hundreds and invest in a solid wood bed. I have learned my lesson and we'll do better research before purchasing a product online. Again... Nice looking bed...cheap material....extremely overpriced.

I stalked this bed for many months, deliberating over whether the quality would justify the price. I considered several other platform beds but this one kept catching my eye. With some trepidation I placed the order and could not be happier with this purchase. The bed is gorgeous and looks even better than in the photos. It is a stunning focal point to the room and definitely gives a beautiful, relaxed modern vibe. At the same time it also looks great with the espresso colored dressers that once belonged to my beloved grandmother. Elegant simplicity, beautiful, and high quality....love it. As for assembly, I opted to purchase white glove delivery, which is possible if you place the order with the company over the phone. It took the 2 delivery men a couple of hours and I heard some power tools, but they seemed to handle it just fine.
