Dorman Replacement intake for Ford 5.4 leaking intake manifold

If the intake on your 5.4L Ford is leaking antifreeze, this is the way to fix it. From what I can tell, Dorman took the time to really research the problem and came up with a winner in this manifold. My son's 2000 F-150 developed a antifreeze leak late last fall, so he got some of that sealer in a can, which worked for a while. In the meantime I did some research of my own on the problem and found that 99% of the time the intake needed to be replaced. A quick search on Amazon turned up this little gem. It is actually a manifold kit, in that it includes everything you need when replacing an intake manifold, including a new thermostat (except for antifreeze). The o-ring style gaskets do a much better job of sealing the intake ports and coolant passages than the typical flat paper or metal shim gaskets, particularly on older, rougher surfaces. The manifold fit without any modifications, and the engine runs better and has slightly better performance due to Dorman enlarging the intake runners. The price (including shipping) also made this a winner, as the cheapest we found it locally was about $50 higher.

Excellent aftermarket intake manifold

Aftermarket Ford intake manifold is an excellent value, made in the US (except the bolts), and a great value compared to Ford part. Instructions on differences between installing the Ford manifold and this one could have had more details but figured it out after a couple of trys.

family of 5 entryway - perfect!

Coming in the door with 3 kids under the age of 4 and sometimes a dog can be crazy. When the weather is nasty, it's even crazier. We were all trying to wipe our feet on the little mat before walking on the floor and the choas was comical. Now we have this long rug so everyone can just walk in and take off their shoes and coats without falling all over each other. It's kinda $$$ but for all the choas it's saving us... well worth it. Also the color is close to the color of our wood floors so it blends in pretty nicely.

Love these rugs and they are well worth the price. Was great to find the larger size which fits my entryway perfectly. Not a tiny rug that everyone trips over shoes, etc. But enough that shoes can be left on the rug when not being worn.

Nice Rug, Much darker than picture

The rug itself is very nice and of good quality. As usual Amazon ships the item very quickly. My only issue with the item is the picture shows a rug that is much lighter than the actual rug that came. For us not a big deal but for some it may be so beware.

Great Pot Rack

I have had this pot rack since 1985! It is still going strong. I just ordered an additional hook for a new pot. To me, this is one of the advantages of this system: after all these years, the items are still available.The version I have has a wooden shelf on top instead of metal. The rack is VERY sturdy and endlessly adjustable. I now have 12 pots and pans on mine. Pots that are similar can be nested close together. Proportional sauce pans 3 shallow, proportional sauce pans 3 deep, two saute pans, 3 Le Creuset saute pans, a Le Creuset pot, and a le Creuset braiser. All you need to add are additional hooks, standard or swivel.

Great lighting kit for the money, and an outstanding value!

I'm surprised no one has reviewed yet!! This is an amazing value.I assembled everything while watching TV in 30 minutes. Probably could have done it in less time if I were actively focusing. Assembly is easy, in other words.Plenty of light. The stands seem, including the base and the latches for allowing you to extend the stands, seem surprisingly sturdy for a $149 budget kit. You can adjust the stands for wider stability if needed. The kit breaks down and packs away in the included bag in a matter of minutes. I put a bit of bubble wrap around the bulbs to make sure they're well padded. The black bag fit everything with room to spare.The lights are fluorescent and did not flicker during the 20 minutes I was using them, giving off noticeably less heat than their incandescent counterparts. They are about 5500k, approximating daylight, and have lower energy consumption than incandescents. Personally, I like seeing what I am shooting instead of using flashes, and fluorescent bulbs were the way to go for me. Your mileage may vary. I used the lights in the evening, and turned off my regular house lights so I could control the color temperature better. This worked very well, and I was able to get some test shots quickly and effectively, without much maneuvering of the lights.My only criticism of the kit is that I find the cords to be rather short. Considering that this is $149 and that a couple of cheap extension cords can easily solve this problem, this will not diminish the 5-star rating.Last year, I used a 2-light system that my photographer friend had to photograph portraits for a wedding, something she had purchased for $200. I had to use my speedlight for fill light, something I wouldn't have had to have done if I had had the Flashpoint 3 kit. This system offers *three* lights, does not have incandescents, and is sturdier...and it costs $50 less.Obviously, this is not a professional setup. It's $149!! No, this is a budget setup that works really well and offers outstanding value for the money.

Great starter kit

I've just started playing with lights, and this set is about the price point I wanted as an introduction. I chose constant lighting because the first use I had for it was to photograph something for work, and thought constant lighting would be easier to play with (eliminate shadows, etc).Easy to set up, easy to lug around. The lights are a little on the weak side, but I knew that going in. Great for smaller objects, but it was a stretch to photograph some of the crates I used as props. For those I added two flash units triggered from the camera.Overall, I am very pleased with this set. At some point I will spring for something more, but for now, this is a great product at a decent price.

really neat latte maker

As a serious coffee junkie I really need a good latte every morning. This is easy enough at home with a cheap electric machine (not ideal, but they work) but camping or on oil patch jobs, well I needed something portable that did not require electricity. Of course there are the common old style faceted espresso makers, but the milk ain't right unless you steam it. Anyway, I broke down and bought this, and I love it! You pay quite a bit extra for the pressure gauge, but once you figure it out, the results are great. There was a problem with the "reducer", an insert used in the coffee basket when making smaller amounts, it is poorly constructed but unnecessary - just measure 1/4 cup fine ground french roast for each large latte, up to three double shot lattes per run. I use about 6oz espresso to 12oz steamed milk. You will want a small stainless steel pitcher for steaming the milk, and it seems best suited for use on a "pocket rocket" type camp stove, although you can of course use a regular stove, setting it off toward the edge of the burner so as not to scorch the handle or spigot. The whole setup, with camp stove, coffee and pitcher fits in a small "makeup" type case. Don't know how I used to live without it.

Bought my Bellman cpx 25 on Ebay. It was $40.00 cheaper. I like my coffee hot. Bought a Breville espresso machine, tough it extracted the double shot well, it was not hot enough for me. No choice ,had to return it. Saw the cpx25 on Amazon, did a little research on youtube. Took a chance and bought it. Best purchase I made. Hot and rich espresso every morning. It's not for everyone as it takes 25 min to make.

Strong built, hands-on, good coffee

I have been using this machine for about two years now, and I am pleased to report that it holds up greatly. I don't follow it's instructions to start making coffee around 2 bar of pressure, but instead do 4-4.5 bar. The coffee is good and foamy - while the "true" espresso has to be made at 10+ bar pressure, it seems that the 4.5 bar this machine delivers do the trick. Some pros and cons follow.Pros:- good coffee, good foaming- very solid, quality build- made of stainless steel so if you care about aluminum, this is great- gauge allows you to try a variety of strength/taste for your coffee- very hands-on and takes a bit to clean; this is good for me for if it was easy (like with a pod machine), I would drink coffee continuouslyCons:- hands-on, so not easy to clean. While this is a plus for me it may be a minus for others.- must take a bit of care when you operate. For example, if you open the valves but left it on the stove, the water will evaporate completely and the silicon gaskets will burn. Or, if you do not close the lid tight, the pressure may push the gasket on top and the water will "explode" out. This happened to me - the good thing about it is that by the time it hit my face the water was cool already.- the shape is not beautiful (but the construction is solid), so this machine does not look like a great Italian art piece that some other espresso machines do)

This adorable Chinchilla thrilled my daughter when she received it, as chinchillas are her second favorite animal (behind meerkats, and there are no meerkat webkinz). I would definitely recommend this. And yes, our dog has given her critique by given "Dusk" a good shake around the neck, which showed no destruction of the toy. Adorable....but

I ordered this chair about 7 months ago for my 15 month old. He loved it immediately! It's absolutely adorable, and really does look just like the picture...fast forward 7 months and, well, it still looks cute, however toddlers aren't easy on any products. Needless to say, the screws that hold the bottom of the chair to the plate that allows it to swivel are just about gone...so we've found random screws in our living room for a couple of months and his climbing, tackling, running into the chair have left it pretty unstable. At this point, we're waiting for a few last screws to come out before we just place the bottom of the chair on the floor. Another thing...the red stitching is elastic- same material basically as a hair tie...so it pulls out pretty far and snaps back.We absolutely love the chair, as does our son, but we wish that it was a little more robust to withstand a crazy toddler.

Me and the mechanics

Looking at this elegant time piece takes me trough memories to the past. In my childhood, mechanical wrist watches were the only ones available. Now, everything seems to be quartz (i love them too, of course). it is an affordable, and precise, well crafted watch. I received it by Christmas, with a big smile.
