Product Description

Thumb screws are designed to be tightened and loosened by hand. They come in a variety of head styles, but each includes an easy-grip head which allows for simple "by-hand" installation.

Stainless steels are used for their corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength, scaling resistance, and low-temperature toughness.  These properties account for their extremely wide use in practically every industry. Austenitic Stainless Steels are alloys of iron and carbon that contain between 16% and 30% Chromium, a maximum of 0.15% carbon, along with Nickel (or Manganese), and other alloying elements.  The chromium, which helps develop a passive surface oxide film, provides corrosion resistance in stainless steels.   Austenitic Stainless Steels are designated by a 3 digit SAE Stainless Steel Grade beginning with the number 3 (e.g. 304, 316).  Another common naming convention for Austenitic Stainless Steels are 18/8, 18/10, 18/0, etc. where the 18 refers to the % of Chromium and 8 to the % of Nickel contained in the material.    

Usually found on thumb screws, a knurled surface on the head gives a better gripping surface, making it easier to tighten or loosen fasteners manually.

A threaded fastener's size name includes information about the major external diameter, followed by the threads per inch, which indicates if it is coarse or fine.

I ordered this items twice and both times received an item that did not match the description. The item number I received was correct for the order, but the screws in the packet did not have the dimensions listed in the title. They were 1.5" long vs 1".

I work in a shop with cement floors 10 hrs a day. I wear these shoes everyday at work. They are so comfortable I just love them. They have a really nice insole that feel like you're walking on a cloud. I am actually on my 2nd pair. When the 1st pair wore out, I didn't even want to look at any other kind. Defiantly worth the money.

Similar to a flat-head style, the oval head style has a slightly convex top surface; it is typically used for appearance. The Phillips drive style was originally designed so that the driver would slip out under extreme torque, preventing over-tightening and damage to the fastener or the material.

The best 15" subwoofer in it's power range that I have ever had the pleasure of owning or hearing. Amazing quality, SUPER low bass. Worth every penny. Read this for what you should buy for the PERFECT tuning kit!

FYI REI.com currently has this item on sale for $38.I looked forever for a perfect ski tuning kit and there is just not one out there. They all seem to have overpriced junk in them and they sell for about $100 with the iron. For this product, the edge tuning tool I will probably be replacing in the future--my boyfriend says it scratches the bottom of the snowboards and it feels cheaply made (for now though, it works as promised). Also, the ptex that comes in this kit is not as good as the extra ptex we purchased from REI for ~$10. It also does not come with a diamond stone (it comes with just a hard stone). With this said, this kit is still a good value for all that you get. I have already saved tons of money on tuning our skis/snowboards. I was able to piece together my own full kit for about $110 using this kit and some other essentials.My kit includes:Continental electric CP43001 non-steam iron from Amazon (just search for 'non steam iron' -- this one is $25 vs. $45 for the ski tuning specific irons and serves the same purpose!!!!)Diamond stone ($10, also found on REI)3/4 lb extra wax ($21, Hertel super hot sauce on Amazon)4 extra ptex sticks ($10 REI and, as stated, better quality than ptex that comes in kit)Base cleaner (some citrus stuff at Walmart)A bag to hold everythingHope this helps and happy tuning!!!

This Tuning Kit has it all

This tuning kit contains everything you need to get a good at-home waxing on your ski or snowboard. Decent (not perfect) tools will get the job done quickly and effortlessly. Comes with black and clear P-tex for your deep scratches. If you don't have a special wax iron, put a uncrumpled layer of aluminum foul over your clothes iron. It will flatten out as soon as you start waxing your board.The plastic scraper is also great for scraping a light layer snow off your windshield in the morning.

Good for Starters

As somone who is just getting started this is a good kit, but now that I have use it a few times and kind of know what I am doing, there are several items in the kit that I would like to replace. The brass brush and rubbing stone are to small, the edger is not adjustible and the plastic scraper does not have a notch for your edges. Its a good way to get your feet wet, but if its something you would like to be looking for some nicer tools.

This is my third set of covers from these folks. For the price, you can't beat the fit and finish. The install is a little difficult, because of the snugness, but that's what fit means. They do not look like junky one size fits all covers. Recommend you watch their install video, it gives you a good idea of how the install goes. You won't be disappointing in the fit.

Sexy yet classy.

I wanted a very classic pair of black boots for work and everyday wear. I haven't had a lot of luck finding a pair that isn't of-the-moment trendy, unattractive and cheap, or appropriate only for clubbing. I got these the other day and they're perfect. The material is nice, they're very comfortable, the fit of the calf is great, and I like the little croc band detail. Someone else mentioned they're slightly baggy in the ankle, which is true, but everything else is so nice that I'm unaffected by one tiny imperfection.

Good fit -- good boot

These boots fit perfectly and fill the need in my wardrobe for a black dress boot. I wear between an 8.5 - 9, usually the larger size for boots and athletic shoes. The size 9 is very comfortable, and the calf width fits perfectly on my 16-in. athletic calves without any gap at the top. I'm 5'4" so was worried the boot might hit too high near the knee, but the shaft height is just right. The only thing is they do bag a bit around the ankles, but then that does make it comfortable still with skinny jeans tucked in. It's not a terrible detriment anyway--after all I'm not going for that super-tight sprayed-on look!

In home studio production with Pyle

I've found this two-Way stereo desktop monitor to be perfect for in home production. With a dynamic power of 50 watts and a max. power of 300 watt, it's just what you'll need for small projects at home. At about 11x9X7 inches it's also a very manageable size if you want to transport it somewhere else. It's also got a detachable power cord, which makes transport even easier.

Perfect little monitor

This is a great little monitor!!!It has such amazing sound for such a compact little package. It has switchable power from 110 to 220 so I can run it any place I go no matter what the power requirements.It has a vinyl coating witch is very professional looking and easy to keep clean. I not only set it up in my home studio I take it to all my shows as a back up.
