Worth it for twice the price!

Don't be fooled by the price. This thing will get the job done and put a smile on your face! I have always been a big fan of Visual Sound and had three of their pedals before purchasing this one. After reading some good reviews I decided to give the Axle Grease a try. I couldn't believe the sound quality for a $70 pedal! The description says it's an analog/digital hybrid but I hardly notice a difference between this and my $180 boutique all-analog delay. There are three knobs: time, repeats, and level. It's very easy to find the sound you're looking for, from simple Rockabilly slapback to crazy infinite repeats for psycedelic rock. I've used it every weekend for the past 4 months with no problems, the thing's built like a tank! With quality and prices like this, I'll be sticking with Visual Sound for a long time.

Sounds really nice specially in combination with a nice sounding amp, I use it with a Fender Blues Deluxe at matches perfectly, however I have another Fender solid state amp and it doesn't shine at all. Easy to use, it's a bigger than the average pedal but also lighter.

good pedal

This is a nice delay for the money. TRY this at the front and the end of your effects chain to find which positions works for you. When I first tried the pedal at the end of the chain it destroyed my tone. I do feel that it might be different for others. I run preamp pedals into a power engine so its not a typical set up. So try it for yourself. The pedal seems well constructed.
