Absolutely gorgeous!

This nativity set is unbelievably beautiful! It arrived looking like its picture and then some. The quality is beyond reproach. I'm truly happy with this purchase and can't wait to put it on display this Christmas. Absolutely gorgeous!!

Disappointed

I really want to love this. Instead, I kind of like it and will keep it because it is a pain to ship back and there aren't other nativities like this. I keep writing this review trying to be less negative. I was so upset when this first arrived because the paint job is terrible. My real complaint is that the chinese factory really needs to find a new spray painter. The scroll work aong the top is a copperish tone. I like the copper. I don't like the spray paint silver accents. I would love to repaint the scroll work (front and back) into a single copper tone. I just wish fixing this was that easy. They also spray painted a silver blog onto the copper colored wall behind the three kings. Why couldn't they just leave the spray paint can alone. The paint details for all of the figurines is well done. It is just the back ground that is bad.If this weren't a 2011 design, I would return it and buy another hoping the spray paint job is better. My initial thought was that the silver spray paint turned this from something that looks like it cost $50 to something that looks like it cost $20. This does not look like an heirloom or something that cost $85 after shipping. I honestly would have given this 2.5 stars to 3 stars for the quality. I bumped it to 4 stars because the design is unique, unlike any other.

Very beautiful and elegant. I love that it's one piece. I always hated putting the multi piece nativity out - and inevitably, one of the pieces would always become a cat toy by the end of the season. The light gives it a soft glow.
