Amazed -- it is true!

I bought the Springer to run my fast and active 60 lb. mutt. She loves to chase squirrels, rabbits, cats, and is aggressive towards strange dogs. On walks she always wants to pull instead of heel. I could take her on a 2 hour walk and she would arrive back home anxious and running in circles around the yard. Now, a 3 mile run tires her out and takes 20 minutes.My husband thought I was crazy to attempt attaching our dog to a bike, but the Springer has made a believer out of both of us. While she's attached, she has gone after all of the above, and I've never been in danger of falling off the bike.I attached the Springer to my seat post; it doesn't slip down that way, and it's high enough so my heel doesn't catch when the pedal is at the top of the stroke. The quality of the metal is excellent/heavy duty.My dog and I are learning signals to use when turning. Because she's on the right side of the bike, when we need to turn right quickly, I just stick out my right foot a bit, and she knows we're going that way, otherwise I would run right into her.The first time we were out on it, she did manage to get her paw under the front tire, just a bit. Surprised her so much she has become cautious.

This had made a real difference in the exercise we can give the dog. Now as a family we can go on a neighborhood bicycle ride with zero worries. Getting harness on the dog was hard at first but now he loves to go. Putting on bike was easy and we haven't had any problems with him pulling or not able to turn with him along. Great idea!
