The noisy cricket to the BFG of DJ controllers.

Long 14-bit pitch faders. Touch and non-touch jog attributes can both be mapped. Reliable. Glitch-free. I love these things. While I do have both standalone traditional mixers and a mixer controller I've mapped, it's not entirely necessary to do long groovy blends. Why? Because the radio knob can function as the channel volume and its push-in function can be the PFL assignment for that channel. All I really need in addition to even just one of these is the interface/soundcard, the computer, and the actual sound makers (that'd be the headphones & soundsystem, folks). Buy several. Buy often. Buy backups.
