Size???

I ordered mediums after looking at the sizing info and since.... well, all my other gloves are medium and fit great.Nope, not even close. They are HUGE to the point of being non-functional. The length of the palm of glove is shorter than the back length, which is, I assume to promote grasping of ski poles, etc. However, such a design requires an near-perfect fit. Otherwise your fingers will curl inside of the gloves, limiting dexterity. Which is what happened here. I was shocked how big the mediums are.However, the good points are that the glove is quite warm and excellently made. This is why I'm going to give the gloves as gifts inside of returning them. I'm considering getting the small size, but fear they might be too big for me as well.* EDIT *I purchased the small size. It was a much better fit. Snug and warm. Still have a little of the curling issue, but I'm sure it'll fade once my hands work in the glove. But...I still only have to give it two starts because of the thumbs. The thumbs are still monstrously oversized to the point where I can fit two thumbs in. Whywhywhy? Perhaps I'm cursed with tiny thumbs? Seriously, these are awfully designed thumbs. Perhaps one day, when I'm trapped on Mt. Everest, I will see the logic of the thumbs...

Juggernaut hands

Paul Pierce, step aside - these are The Truth. OR Crave gloves must be what riot police wear in Siberia. I have larger hands and often find large gloves to be bulky. I wanted to give these 5 stars, but I'm holding out for the magical pair of super-warm gloves that are so flexible you forget you're wearing them. For the amount of durable leather and insulation these gloves have, the dexterity is phenomenal. The leather appears to be very high quality. It actually scares me that "we" have access to gear this good at prices that are so low. The fingers have particularly elaborate stitching (compared to average two-piece construction). I used to be an "over the cuff" guy, now I'm under-cuff all the way.

very nice

Well built gloves. They run a little large but if you're layering it works out well. I wear these over the OR PL 150s and it seems to be a very warm system. I've never really used a layered gloves system until the army, I'm sold on it now. It's nice to be able to get little camp chores done using the lighter layer and then put the heavier layer on without exposing skin. These will become part of my cigar smoking system:)If you would like to know something specific about this item just ask and I'll try to respond within a day or so.
