Carhartt's waterproof eathable acadia jacket is the perfect compliment to carhartt's waterproof eathable acadia pant. It's lightweight nylon shell has a water-repellent finish while its ripstop shell faic resists tearing. It features a waterproof eathable laminated memane with carhartt logo print and fully taped seams for complete waterproof protection. It also has a roll-up hood/collar with hook-and-loop fastener, full-length front zipper with double storm cuffs, pleated elbows for ease of movement, elastic hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, two lower slash pockets with zipper closures and storm flaps. Adjustable draw cord hem has barrel-lock adjusters. Main seams are triple-stitched for durability.

Love it!

Others may say this jacket looks cheap or flimsy but as an owner I can say they are wrong. This jacket is still in 1 piece after considerable hard use. A jacket generally lasts me a month or so before tearing. This one has not! It is also surprisingly cool (temp) when wearing, it is not like vinyl rain jackets that bake you alive. Not at all like them. It is so good at varying temps that this has become my generall autumn wear jacket, rain or shine, warm or cold. I just wear the appropriate shirt underneath for the temps and I do great. It is VERY waterproof, I have had no wetness issues through it in multiuple downpours. I am considering buying the matching pants for general use on rainy days, but currently continue with an older cheaper set of rain pants.Downsides? The fabric rubs together loudly, and relatively cheaply "sounding". People will thing its a cheap thin rain coat hearing it run on you.

Good fit with room for warm clothing under. Bought pants as well and they are very comfortable as well. Not to be used to keep warm but great to keep you dry. I used them on a drift fishing trip and was very comfortable.

Fits well, lacking in some features.

Tailoring is good, sheds rain pretty well. For a tall size, the body was too short; could be about 2" longer. Some items I would have liked to see: Double zipper (opens from top or bottom). Interior lining, body and sleeves. (felt a little clammy with a short sleeve shirt). Outside chest pocket, zippered (for cellphone).
