Work perfectly in new Sandy Bridge MB/CPU

I ordered these only to find out afterward that Sandy Bridge CPUS prefer 1.5V DRAM; Amazon showed these were 1.65V.So, I installed them and much to my surprise and joy, they ran fine at 1.5V; passed 24 hours of RAM testing and been working just fine since.They arrived quickly too!

Don't let the price sway you

The specs were good, the part was compatible, the price seemed great, what could go wrong?One module was DOA, Dead On Arrival. I thought, okay, I can take my computer apart (again) and return all four to amazon. Or I can contact the manufacturer for a warranty replacement, simple right? But wait, no manufacturer information was included with the shipment! I tried contacting Komputerbay, but was unable to find contact information that anyone answered. By the time I knew I should have returned the set, it was too late.Two months later, another chip went bad during normal system use.The moral: Stick to brand name parts, the service that comes with the logo is worth it.

I thought these would slow down, not be actual 16gb or something worse. To my surprise everything worked out beautifully. Everything worked 100% and will buy these again.
