Sounds Much louder than 15 Watts!!

My wife and I purchased the Thunder 150 model to donate to our children's school for pickup and drop-off. The one the school had was huge, heavy, and supposed to be 25 Watts, and you couldn't even understand what was being said. We got so frustrated as parents, just trying to figure out what was being said over the school's old megaphone, we decided to replace the school's piece of junk out of frustration. When we saw the Thunder 150, we didn't even pay attention to it because of its size, but when we thought about it, we realized how much the petite teachers struggled with the school's old hunk-of-junk. We thought we would give it a shot and if it wasn't loud enough, we would just exchange it for the Thunder 350. When we received it, our first impression was that it wouldn't be loud enough because of how small and light it was; however, after we put the batteries in it, we were pleasantly surprised. The Thunder 150 is EXTREMELY LOUD and VERY CLEAR and at full volume, MUCH LOUDER than the OLD 25 WATT MEGAPHONE IT REPLACED. As soon as the school started using it, the frustration level FOR ALL THE PARENTS have lowered, because pickup and drop off of time for the students is a such a breeze. The teachers, love it, the parents, love it, my wife loves it, and I love it.

Good sound projection

The sound projection is good - the quality of the item is so-so. Accidently dropped the battery holder when changing batteries and it cracked easily. It is easy to use and the volume control makes it perfect for either indoor or outdoor use.
