Works great

This Smart Switch came as part of the Generac 20KW generator model 5875 that I purchased. You will pay a lot more money if you buy a generator without a smart switch, such as the 20KW model 5887, and then purchase this separately.The Smart Switch eliminates the need to assign specific circuits to protect, which you will have to do if you buy a generator without this. Instead the Smart Switch will let any of your circuits operate off the generator when the power fails. To me it was a no brainer to buy a generator that came with this.
