Excellent! Super Comfy!

These shoes are SO awesome! Super comfy, look good, stylish. You wouldn't want to wear them to a formal event b/c they have rubber soles, but you could get away with it if you needed to (just shine them up real nice). I got the size 45 and I'm a 11.5 (US) typically and I found that they run a tiny tiny bit big, but nothing to sweat about. I totally recommend these shoes.

Satisfied, but a minor issue was not mentioned

Shoes look great, but with a closer look I found the reason they were marked down a hundred smackers.Each shoe is made up with two series of stiches which look cool as shown in the photos. The issue is that the outside stitching on both shoes appears to have gone off track which allows the edge of the leather to raise a bit. I dont consider it very noticable and it's symmetrical (both shoes)... and hey I saved $100.Ecco is no doubt one of the best brand's of shoe I have ever purchased. Just retired a pair after three years of everyday casual and business use and they actually still look very good. Ecco is what Aldo pretends to be without the life span, comfort or quality. Spend a few extra buck for a better product.The 5th star was not assigned just because this details was not mentioned. It may not have even swayed my decision, but I'm predicting that many of the items marked way down are actually factory second products. For all intensive purposes they are perfectly fine, but Ecco whould not have allowed them on the shelf as a display. I can't tell you that all shoes will arrive with this "defect", but if it's marked down it's likely for a reason. The good news is it wont likely be major and you will have saved a few bucks in the process.

Ecco Chicago Lace Up

This is the second pair of Eccos I've purchased, and the differences in quality, comfort and fit are astounding. The finish on the leather makes for a plastic-like quality, which translates to a much stiffer feel. The footbed on these has almost no arch support, and is significantly less cushioned than my other pair of Eccos. Finally, the fit is much larger. In other Eccos I've tried on, a 46 fits my foot, which is generally a 12.5-13 dress shoe. But the Chicago is much longer, fitting more like a 13-14. Even for $60 through Amazon, these shoes are just not worth it.
