The Deluxe FireSteel Tube TM Bunker comes with rugged FireSteel Tube TM, 1/2 inch thick x 4-inch long FireSteel, 20mm Liquid Filled Button Compass of excellent quality, over 18-feet of military spec parachute cord (color of cord may vary), and a genuine FireSteel.com Super Scraper built in! There is also a special tinder compartment that keeps your tinder dry and ready to use.
The FireSteel inside measures 1/2 x 4-inches (3.5-inches useable) and is enough to light 50,000 fires.
Each end of the firesteel has a cap that unscrews. Unscrew one cap to reveal the firesteel scraper. Reverse the cap and screw it back into the tube to create one heck of a scraper handle! Unscrew the other cap and pull your firesteel from its protecting tube.
One end of the tube contains a very fine 20-mm liquid filled button compass with luminous glow in the dark dial that has been carefully checked for accuracy.
The FireSteel Tube TM is securely wrapped with appoximately 15-feet of high grade 550 parachute cord made to military specifications. This cord has 7 inner strands surrounded by an outer sheath and is rated with a minimum breaking strength of 550-pounds. "550 paracord" has a thousand and one survival uses; from field expedient equipment fixes, fishing line and even dental floss.
Each FireSteel Tube TM also has a genuine FireSteel.com FireSteel Super Scraper and lanyard consisting of and additonal 3 feet of military spec 550 parachute cord. These famous FireSteel.com super scrapers have been proven to give ultra robust sparks when used on a FireSteel.
This FireSteel.com FireSteel Tube TM features the very popular 1/2 x 4-inch Armageddon FireSteel in a nearly unbreakable aluminum tube. The FireSteel can be easily replaced should it wear out (unlikely for years to come!)

I've been using Deluxe Bunker for a year now, and I love it!This poduct is amazing for number of reasons:*It produses tons of hotes sparks*The Bunker-is the BIGGEST FIRE STEEL ROD on the market!!!*Exellent sharp striker, which didn't lost its sharp age after one year of constant use!!!*100% Waterproof tinder compartment*Good design*Build like tank*Would be my number one toll for long term living/survival in wildernessAlso I like nice additions like compass and 15 ft. of paracord that might be handy in survival situation.Yes. I would recomend this poduct.

What can I say about Firesteel.coms' Deluxe Bunker that would cause me not to buy another??NOTHING!!I only have one small complaint about the product, and that is that the rod could possibly be "swapped" around so the striker is held in the hand, and the ferro would reverse, and be able to be screwed into the handle body...Other than that, you can trust the 5 star readings and excellent reviews posted before mine!Great Customer Service and great products, American Made.

ok first let me start off by saying i have at least 6 different brands of fires teel this one throws showers period when ever its struck. so the actual ability to make fire is taken care of because if you can't start a fire with this massive hunk of ferro rod no other fire steel i know of can. \next onto fit and finish on the one i received the deluxe bunker model the one with the liquid filled compass on the end its top notch almost weapon like lol its a hunk of aluminum tube with high quality threads on it and milled out grooves on its caps everything is smooth and very nice the ferro rod itself has to be at least 10 times the size of a light my fire fire steel. basically until i find something better and i highly doubt i ever will this is the end all be all of fire steels. it can and should provide years and years of trouble/drama free fire starting this is of course unless you lose it completely which is imo the only reason to replace it.its absolutely worth every penny functionality goes beyond the ordinary fire steel by adding a shockingly good compass to a slick heavy duty aluminum tube its an absolutely top notch piece of kit hands down. feel completely confident buying this guy as you will surely love it.
