Great Sturdy Utility Cart - Highly Recommended

The Rubbermaid Heavy Duty Utility Cart is exactly what we needed for use in our shop production area. These carts have held up well for over 3 years of almost daily use and have never shown any signs of wear. We have two of these (one in beige, and one in grey), one for moving up to four 50lb containers from the shipping area and one for moving finished goods to the front of the store.We work with messy materials that do occasionally leak and these carts are very easy to clean up. I also like how easy these carts are to maneuver down our narrow aisles, even under very heavy load.It pays to invest in a quality product! Highly Recommended!

According to the Rubbermaid website, the weight rating of this cart is 500 lbs., not the 2000 lbs. stated here. I wrote to Amazon a while back to inform them of their error, they acknowledged it, but the info here remained the same. Obviously, overloading anything can be very dangerous. The cart itself is exceptional, and very useful for any number of material moving tasks. I'm in construction, and we are seeing more and more of these things on jobsites. Just keep it at less than 500 lbs.! Peace

I first saw carts like this at the assembley plant where I work, and was impressed with their construction and light weight. After closely examining several, I decided to buy one for my art studio. I keep my paints on top and various other supplies on the bottom, and it's everything I want it to be: light,strong and easy to move. The three inch lip keeps me from knocking any paints over onto the floor and nothing rolls off when I move it. It's just the right hieght for me when I'm standing at my easel affording me easy access to whatever I need. For me, it fits the bill nicely and I'm totally satisfied with it.
