At last I found a number pad that works for macs!!

I tried about half a dozen different supposed mac-compatible number pads -- all went back except this one. All the others were fine for the numbers themselves, but they all had problems of varying magnitudes with the interpretation of the other, non-numeral keys. My primary purpose was to be able to use the keypad shortcuts when running the Sibelius music notation program on a mac laptop without having to carry the extra bulk of a full Apple wired keyboard. The others failed either because the 'enter' key was mis-recognised, or the upper row was out of sync by one (since they had the physical key positions of a pc numberpad). I even tried a fully programmable keypad, which turned out not to be quite fully programmable for macs (again the upper row of a mac numberpad defeated the progammability -- I called the manufacturer of that device to get help editing the key translation file, but without full success).This 'goldtouch' mac keypad plugs in and works without hassle, and that after all, is the whole point!!
