Tissot PRS516 Automatic black dial leather strap

This watch came very fast, I ordered it over the weekend and got in on Tuesday. The Box looks very elegant that comes with the watch. This watch is an incredible deal for the price. You can tell right away the Swiss quality. The diamond cut looking dial that glows in the dark just looks awesome I have to admit. This watch easily looks like a watch over $1,000. I doubt these will last for long at these prices. Where else can you get a Swiss automatic mechanism for this price?

At just under four hundred bucks, this is one of the best deals on the net right now. Yeah, you can get it for a few dollars less on another website but you'd be foolish to since Amazon's shipping policy is worth the extra cost. This watch is amazing. It has a ETA 2836-2 automatic day-date movement that is very accurate with a smooth sweeping second hand, easily visible under the anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal. It has a signed crown that provides a comfortable hand-wind if you need to. The leather strap has a signed polished deployment clasp that is high quality. The leather itself is comfortable, and with it's four holes that taper along with the strap, is very stylish. The watch "fits like a glove" as they say. The watch takes a 20mm wide strap so aftermarket strap and bracelet options are unlimited. The dial, hands, and hour markers are somewhat retro, harking back to the PR516 of the 1960's, but it's not to retro as to look like it's overly trying to be retro. It's a sporty watch, but since it's not a chronograph, it's not to sporty. The watch is 42mm and if you feel like you can't wear a 42mm watch because it's to big, think again. Let me explain why you can wear this watch. Since the watch case is somewhat retro, it has sort of a cushion style case. Because of this, the lugs are very small. There is almost no lug at all. This means that the watch is not going to extend out over the sides of your wrist. It also means that those of you with smaller wrists can wear this watch with no problem. And since Tissot is owned by the Swatch group, which also owns Omega, you can be assured that you are getting a quality piece. I would recommend that you go for it and buy this piece. I predict you will not be disappointed at all.
