Amazing Thermal Protection Too

Having just moved to Seattle, I knew I needed a light weight jacket for the daily commute to the bus stop and I shopped around a lot. Yes, this jacket keeps you dry and has really impressive sealed zippers... it's great. And the hood hooks over further to keep the water out. But I was incredibly impressed with the thermal lining in this thin jacket. They call it Omni Heat and it looks like those thermal foil blankets. I'm quite comfortable in temperatures in the low 40s with this jacket. I love it!

Extremely well-made product. The quality shows. I would have loved an inner pocket though. The jacket is lightweight but provides enough warmth in around 60 degress F.

I originally ordered a medium and had to send back for a larrge, but once the new size was received this jacket proved it was all it was cracked up to be. I havent had it in a "drenching" rain yet since owning it, but none the less i have no doubts it will perform just fine. Columbia has been a time-tested and proven company when it comes to outdoor gear, and i will mos definitely buy from them in the future.
