This Brand New Pair of Theater Solutions granite style 2-way weatherproof rock speakers are manufactured from high tech plastics, rubber, and other materials that have been extensively tested for durability. These multi-layer composite cabinets with rust resistant steel grills are weatherproof against rain, snow, salt, ice, pool chemicals and more. The 6 1/2" inch 8 ohm butyl rubber surround woofers with poly-mica cones and 1 inch ferro-fluid cooled soft dome tweeters. The Theater Solutions rock speakers are "voiced" for outdoor performance. Their sound is contoured to provide the best performance in open air environments. They blend perfectly with other Theater Solutions outdoor speakers. The drivers are angled upwards 20 degrees in the enclosure to deliver great sound when placed at ground level.

Great for the price!!!

First off, i rarely write a review on any product, this may be my 2nd ever. But i felt compelled to write one here. I bought one pair of the 6 1/2" speakers, for $69.99I was skeptical to buy these because of the huge price difference. After doing some research on the company (Theater Solutions) and the site they ship from (Onlyfactorydirect), i decided it was pretty legit and went for it.I got the Free Super Saver Shipping so I was not too disappointed that it took 10 days to arrive, granted they did come from Arizona and i'm in PA.The speakers themselves were a bit smaller than i had anticipated, but seem to be built very well and durable. I hooked them up to a shelf system i have in my shed, which is only about 70 watts RMS, with 14 AWG wire, and hid the speakers in our flowerbeds around our deck. And to my surprise, the sound was VERY good. These speakers replaced 3 outdoor speakers by Dual (not rock speakers), and the sound does not even compare.I must say i've only had these for about a week now, so we shall see how they hold up in the long run.One small thing that i did not like is the wire connection type, these are hard wired, would have liked to see a better connector.But overall, for the money, this is really a steal. Would recommend these to anyone!

Great speakers

These speakers are great for outside. They sound amazing...makes my backyard sound great! The only thing I didn't realize is they do not come with the speaker wires and outdoor wire is pretty expensive. Factor in outdoor wire into your budget.

Impressed with these speakers. Good sound- not quite as clear as my yamaha outdoor speakers, but good sound. Very heavy duty.
