Product Description
Red Line Oil MT-90 is designed to provide excellent protection and improved shiftability for manual transmissions and transaxles, having cured the problem of hard shifting in thousands of transmissions with shifting troubles. They have the appropriate coefficient of friction for most manual transmission synchronizers (many gear oils, engine oils, and ATFs are too slippery for proper synchro engagement). The synthetic base oils used have a very high viscosity index which provides relatively constant viscosity as temperature changes. MT-90 is a thicker 75W90 version of MTL. The shear stability and oxidation stability of these products are excellent, thus the physical characteristics of Red Line MT-90 will change little with use.

I put this in my 98 wranglers manual trans(ax-15) after I had it rebuilt, so I knew that quality oil would be used for its new life. I have about 10K miles on the rebuilt trans and everything is working great so far!

Toyota Brass Syncros need GL4 75/90 Dont use GL5. MT90 works great, people will tell you GL5 is compatable, well its not for Toyotas with brass syncros. Trust me!!!!!!!!!!! I have an 87 Toyota
