Card Crazy

My #11 year was introduced to these cards by a friend and was immediately hooked. Little brothers now love them as well. It's a little like the "Top Trumps" games in a way (each player is assigned a defence and offensive score, when two players come head to head, the one with the highest score wins). You arrange your team, trying to select the best players (thus collecting those cards). You can play with the cards physically, or online against friends or others.The main problem with these cards is FINDING them in stock! While a 50-pack is quite a few, I'm sure my kids will go through them and could probably sell them to friends (for a profit I bet!) just because they are hard to locate. I use the card packs to reward the kids for good behavior (better than candy, right?) My younger boy likes the physical cards while the older one only cares about the online code, so I can often make two kids happy for the price of one. I think my six year old has improved his reading skills (learning all the names) and certainly knows quite a bit about basketball, the various teams and players. It's funny to hear him talk about it now.One other note - we had a slight snafu with the online game and I had to call customer service ... I have to say I've really never been more impressed with a customer service call. I give this company a thumbs up *Ü*
