My son loves it!

My son received this as a gift, and absolutely adored it, though he was very upset when the batteries died. So, I replaced them ... even though it seemed to have drained the batteries faster than I would like. The light quit again, just a few days after replacing the batteries ... and apparently, this is it. New batteries make no difference, there is no more light. My boy still likes it, but he's constantly giving him to me saying "Daddy fix!", and sadly, I cannot. It's been less than 2 months since he got it.I must amend and update my review ... my wife sent an e-mail off to the company regarding this issue, and they promptly sent us a new light box for "Critter" as my son calls him, no hassles. Since they have stood behind their product in this fashion, I'm changing my rating, and amending my review to reflect that good customer service.

My children love this!

My 6 year old has the blue one at his school and when a child becomes student of the week they got to bring him home for a weekend and write a little journal for "Jake". He loved it so much I surprised him with one for Christmas and every night I still have to give him a high 5.

I bought two of these for my 2 and 4 year old boys who were afraid of the dark. My 2 year old was having trouble sleeping through the night. After trying everything (nightlights, stuffed bears, star lights, sound machines) they felt comfortable with their "monkeys" the battery pack is not that hard to replace but it does go through batteries relatively quickly. My sons love it on all night and this is such a great toy. The night is soft but bright. I would recommend this to anyone.
