5They'll change the way you ski
By Randy Hartnell
I recently purchased the Smith 'Phenom' Turbo Fan goggles upon the recommendation of a friend who told me "they will change the way you ski." She was not exaggerating--I absolutely LOVE them. Visibility on flat-light days is remarkable, and I haven't even needed the fan since they seem to resist fogging when I would normally expect it. I wanted to rebut the one-star comment, which in no way reflects my own experience. By the way, Smith guarantees them, so if you don't like them as much as I do, take em back!

5FANtastic!!
By Nina M.
These are the best things ever! I have been skiing for more than 40 years and have always had trouble with my goggles or sunglasses fogging up. With these goggles, I never heard the fan, so the noise wasn't a problem and every time I would see my goggles start fogging up, they would immediately clear. It was magic! I love them!

2Almost
By JMat
I break a sweat easily and ski in the Northwest where temps do not go much lower than 25 degrees on a cold day. I split my time inbounds and backcountry skiing. The fan works well on the inside of the lens but the space between the lens still fogs up. It is impossible to clear the fog since it is in the lens. The second day wearing them, I could not see anything but fog so I called Smith when I got home. They sent me a new lens and told me I had remove and clean the lens in warm water every time I wear them to keep the fog away. So, I take the lens out every time I ski and make sure to run it under warm water and let it dry out. This works about 50% of the time with both lenses. The other 50% of the time when these do fog up I wear a pair of $30 goggles that don't typically fog up in-between the lens. It is very frustrating to be miles from civilization in the backcountry and have a $160 pair of goggles fail. Don't attempt skinning in these no matter what the temp is outside. My wife also has these goggles and the same problem.
