Comfortable and warm

It's a little bulky on my head (I'm a larger medium), but not ridiculous looking. And it's comfortable. It stays put and isn't too heavy, and once I properly adjusted the chin strap it doesn't try to choke me either. It is warm too, especially with the vents closed. In fact, I can't wear this even with them open on a spring day with the sun shining. That's the only con, maybe it needs more openable vents. That and goggles don't really sit above the brim, they just slide back when you aren't wearing them. Can't wait to gut some headphones and put them in the ear pads. They open up all the way around so you can run the wire from left to right inside the pad. Not really a fan of skullcandy, who makes the simple swap in audio pads.

This is a good all around winter helmet. It is warm on cold days and plenty of vent on the spring days. The only problem I have is the ear covers sometime come loose and need to be adjusted.

The helmet has a bigger profile as other reviewers have mentioned, but is really light that I didn't notice it after a few minutes. I did not need any other insulation for my head and ears as the pads do a great job of keeping out the cold. I did feel the draft through one of the ear pads but it never got too uncomfortable. The fit is true to size as long as you accurately measure your head's circumference and order the correct size. My Smith goggles fit perfectly under the brim and stayed mostly put when placed over the brim. The snap behind the helmet for holding the goggles is very secure. Cannot comment on the safety features of the helmet as I haven't had any nasty falls on my head... yet.
