4High Quality, But Strap Fell Apart
By pfudelsox
This is a quick review of ComfortGels Impression Mat, 24" x 72" in dimension and with 5/16" thickness.I purchased two of these mats, one for myself, and another one for my friend. As described, it is thick, cushiony, and sticky. It helps me hold poses very well. It is 3.5 kilograms, quite heavy, so is more ideal to use as a home practice. My only complaint is the shoulder or carrying straps. BOTH mats arrived with the straps pulled apart from the edge of the mats, where they were supposed to be sewn together in one piece. With a sewing machine, you could sew and re-attach the thick straps back to the edge of the mat. Without, you would need to find a local tailor for this task, keeping in mind that the mat is 3.5 kilos, or 7.7 lbs. The sewing needs to be very neat and sturdy. This defect might just be my particular batch, for all I know.Another minor thing that I find inconvenient is that the carrying straps are designed in such a way that the mat must be rolled inside-out. Yes, the mat can be rolled inside-in (which is, in my opinion, how it is normally done), but you would need to twist the carrying straps, in order for the velcro to come around and stick properly. Hard to explain.I love everything else about the mat otherwise.

5Worth the money!!!
By Cutie Pie
I have problems doing a lot of the movements required by yoga due to a tail bone injury. Rolling up every time I had to lean sideways a little. This made it very hard to a lot of moves. This pad has really inproved my yoga experience. Thank you so much!!!
