Hmmm...I purchased the orange color hammock less than a week ago at a price of $80 new. Not sure why the cost has all of a sudden increased by $50. I think the price change is a little shady, but feel lucky I got it at such a terrific price.If you are looking for a hammock - period - this is a great one to consider. It's really so much more than a simple "travel" hammock. It's sturdy and large with enough room for two people (though, I'm only 5'3" and a size 8) and is made of quality material that you can just feel will hold up through the test of time. Plus, it's got a TON of bells and whistles (a canopy that rotates 180 degrees, cup holders, a storage area that can double as a cooler, a nice memory foam pillow, etc).I read other reviews online (on a different website) and a lot of people were complaining about the fact that it is very heavy to carry. I'm not sure what they expected - it says right on the description 25 lbs. Like I said above, I'm not a huge person and while yes, it is a bit heavy, it's not impossible to pick up and easily move around. I just wouldn't be walking 5 miles with it on my back. But moving it short distances should be no problem for a healthy and fit adult!

I have been looking for a hammock for my back yard for over a year. I kept going back and forth about what type of hammock I should get when I came across this item on Amazon.com. My yard is very sunny and with only one large tree, I was going to have to get something free-standing. The thought of a hammock always being out in the yard bothered me. I'd have to move it to mow the grass and what if it was in the way or needed to be put up during hurricane season...This arrived yesterday and within minutes of opening the package I can say I'm very happy with my purchase. The hammock fabric seems to be quite sturdy. I like the cup holders, storage compartment, and magazine slot, and the fact that the pillow can be attached to the hammock so it won't fall off. I had it set up in the back yard in no time at all. After about 45 minutes of relaxing, rain clouds threatened, so I quickly disassembled the hammock and brought it inside to continue enjoying my new purchase. After a quick reassemble, my two dogs were interested in trying it out and so all three of us got in it and took a nap. It was easy to put together and take back down and when it's packed back into the carrying case it's bulky but not hard to carry, I'm only 5'4", but managed it easily. The shoulder straps are even padded, which is a nice touch. Time will tell if the product holds up but so far I am happy with it.

I love the color and the size was very comfortable for a 6ft. man. It is a little heavy but I expected that because it feels very sturdy but I've only used it a couple times. Shipping was quick so all in all very satisfied.
