Prone to fail, inexepensive and easy to repair

Just finished removing and replacing one of these units. Had to go to Ferguson, a specialty plumbing distributor to find it. So instead of driving 1.3 miles to Home Cheapo or Big Box store, I traveled almost two miles to Ferguson (they are all over the place and have the item stocked and for the same price as online).The pressure valve is the piece that failed in my case. Noticed gurgling noises, tried to bleed, realized that no water was getting into the system and that all-in-one valve was the suspect. Took all apart, not sure how it failed, but, springs and screens and bladders, all in a cramped space --- it did.Pretty simple to cut water supply, twist off (hand tightened only) and then twist on with a little teflon tape.The product seems to be manufactured fine, just, you might want to buy two because it's not the IF it fails, it's the WHEN.

My tank leaked,had to send it back,they had to send it to manufacture,they determined it was defective.Instead of sending me a new tank they refunded my account,after reordering i think i finally have a tank that works.Just glad it wasn't the middle of winter.
