Great affordable 3 light set

I needed an affordable 3 light set for my video class. This ephoto set was similar to many others (3 box lights, Incandescent bulbs, stands, case) but for less. Most of the other sets were 200+, and these were only in the 175 range. The set was shipped quickly with no damage. They took a little time to figure out how to setup (because there were no directions) but everything worked great. The stands are decent but may not hold up if you tear down and setup a lot. Mine stay setup.Pros -Great PriceGood lightingIncandescent bulbsTwo on/off switches per light (so you can have 2 or 4 bulbs on at a time).Cons-No directionsUpdate - MarchWe've been using these lights for the past 2 months and have been very happy with them. I thought the stands (base) would be too small and therefore tipsy, but that has not been the case. They have not tipped once. Still a great set of lights.

wow where to start these lights are great i fell in love with them the momment i set them up and turn these bad boys on i got instruction but they weren't that helpful even though it was common sense to set up everything the poles that go in the softbox was a lil tuff to put in... the stands seem sturdy to me and the carrying case is pretty cool but it doesnt have much patting in them but it will do other then that these lights are great and the price is amazing im planing on buying more when i finish building my studio

Different Sizes

I bought these because I wanted to the flexibility to add some more light to my video shoots. These offer fairly easy setup and even lighting. My only complaint is that one of the softboxes I got was larger than the other 2. Normally this would be fine, but the rods are the same size as the smaller softbox rods. So, the large softbox itself is fairly flimsy feeling, and it just doesn't fit securely over the lighting ring. Still offers decent light (haven't metered for uneven patches yet). I will see if I can purchase some different rods or a smaller softbox separately, because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning everything.
