The new ZRS Series is unmistakably Cadence. Professional studio grade quality means your system will deliver dynamic sound with natural transparency, unmatched impact, and perfect imaging. The ZRSW8 is an 8-Inch active amplified subwoofer. It has a low profile of 3-inch; now you can have bass reinforcement in tight spaces, perfect for trunks, small cars, convertibles, or even under your seat! It is made of a cast aluminum anti vibration chassis. The ZRSW8 has a RCA line level input and high level OEM radio integration. It has an LED power and diagnostic status indicator. There is a phase shift control for 0-180° and a +12dB variable bass boost equalization control. There is a low-pass electronic crossover, adjustable between 50-150Hz. The ZRSW8 has a soft start mute & delay turn-on-off circuitry and an IC controlled diagnostic circuitry. A dashboard mount remote bass control is included. The ZRSW8 has a power handling of 200 Watts RMS at 4 Ohm with a 600 Watt Peak. The frequency response is 20Hz - 120Hz with a sensitivity of 92dB @ 1w/1m SPL. It has a minimum total harmonic distortion of <0.05%, a signal-to-noise ratio of >100dB, and a damping factor of >100 @ 100Hz. The input voltage of the ZRSW8 is 200mV-3V. The dimensions of the chassis is 14.5-inch (L) x 9.5-inch (W) x 3-inch (H). Product comes with a two (2) year warranty.

Much better than expected

I was hoping for this sub to just add some low end to my sound. To my surprise, this sub actually needed to be turned down because it was louder than my other speakers. Very impresseive little unit!

Great for small space

I purchased this for a very limited space application that I wanted to be unobtrusive.While this will add some bass if installed under a seat or similar location, it will not replace atuned subwoofer box with a large driver. It seems well built with aluminum enclosure, time will tell how it holdsup. The adjustable sub control is a good idea, but I didn't see a lot of change through the range and opted tonot install it.I would rate it higher if it put out more sound and the price was lower.If space and covert installation is required, consider this unit, otherwise go with a tuned enclosure andseperate amplifier.A good unit for tight spaces but not for shaking the neighbors windows.
