Product Description
All Curt hitches feature WeatherTite construction, which prevents rusting from the inside out by sealing the main body of the hitch. The receiver tube has an open back end to allow for easy cleaning and for dirt and moisture to pass through and not get trapped as is common with other brands of hitches. All Curt hitches come with mounting hardware and installation instructions. Curt is the only hitch company in the industry that mechanically de-scales all of their hitches before applying a thick powder coat finish, which is baked on for a high-gloss, smooth surface. Fits perfectly.All of the parts were exactly right in size and amount.The supplied "fishwire tool" is a jewel that makes it easy to install. It's a keeper!Leisurely time with no cussing, no skinned knuckles: 45 min. with no lift or ramp.Nicely made but painted, not powder coated.Tips: o use the packing foam as a lift to support the muffler while you slip the rubber hangars off the car (not the the muffler!). o use a real torque wrench. 75 ft-lb is "by-gosh" tight and that's "all she wrote" with an 18" Craftsman torque wrench. o the hangar pins on the car have a light knob on the end; you'll feel some resistance as you push them over. o you need a deep-well 3/4" or 19 mm socket to tighten the two bolts on the rear cross-member. o You cannot possibly get 75 ft-lbs without a long-armed wrench. It a lot of force in a tight space.
