Product Description

I have a 2001 Volvo V70, and wanted to add a hitch primarly to hold a four bike mount. This is of course an old car with lots of miles, so I had no interest in spending a lot of money. This was the ideal product for me. Amazon had it at a great price, and the Curt reputation made me feel comfortable with the purchase. The item arrived exactly as described and contained all of the items required for installation, along with easy to follow step by step instructions. I had this installed myself in under 30 minutes. It looks great, meaning that it is very subtle, and the hitch works perfectly with my four bike Thule rack. Most importantly, I can now safely transport four bikes on the back of my Volvo without having broken the bank.

Did a one person installation in about 30 minutes and everything looks clean and is strong. Remember to use the supplied bolts versus the originals from the car, as they are rated at a my higher strength level.
