The easiest way to describe this is that if the normal pet carrier is coach class, the tube is first class for your cats. We used to have crying and restless worried cats, now they stretch out and sleep, they play with toys and love the experience. We got the foam cushion for the cats to lie on. This does two main things, it gives the cats a comfortable level surface to sit/lie on, and it also allows you to close the zips in a place that they cannot get a hold of,(some clever cats have been reported opening the zips from the inside). A great product, really easy to install and transport, really cool.

Pet Tube Pilllows

These pillows are nice, but I wish that there was an option to purchase only one pillow. We do not use the tube fully extended, so one pillow is not used and I didn't need it.

Driving across county with cats in the way back of a stationwagon, these keep litterbox flat and even inside the Pet Ergo Tube :)
