Shoes were purchased for my active Kindergartener. We've learned that cheaper shoes bought at chain stores do not hold up like a bit more expensive shoes do. We've purchased two and three pairs per year of cheap shoes because the soles blow out or other rips occur, even with good care taken of them. We've not experienced that problem with shoes of this quality. A bonus for our son?... they came in yellow; his favorite color! Excellent quality and fair price for these shoes.
