Great fit and comfort

I am a very picky man when it comes to shoes. I won't buy shoes if they don't feel perfectly even in both feet, provide enough room for my toes to wiggle, or feel any sort of discomfort (could even be a stitch within the shoe that protrudes just a bit too much). I am picky. I never would have risked buying shoes online, but I needed a pair of shoes with sufficient cushion for my plyometric workouts and I wasn't impressed with any of the stores' offerings around here. I read some blogs and came upon this shoe. After ordering the shoe, I read that some people get Asics a half or full size bigger than their regular size because they usually go on a bit tight. That scared me and left me anxious to receive the shoes to check size, fit, and comfort. Two days later, they arrived...Boy, what a surprise when I put on the right shoe and felt nothing but pure comfort. Even more exciting was that both shoes fit me very well. I was so happy at this point. Now the true test: How did they hold up during my plyometric workouts? ... ... AWESOME!! These shoes are light; they have a breathable mesh where you can actually feel the air rushing past your feet; they have reinforced sides so that hard lateral movement won't tear the shoe open; the gel cushion used is fantastic; and they fit perfectly so no need to exchange for a bigger size. Better yet, my feet weren't hurting after the workout (my previous Nike trainers fit and felt okay, but jump around a bit in them, and my feet would scream in pain).What matters is that I very much like these shoes and would recommend them to others.P.S. - I got the black pair and they look really nice.

A great running shoe

I recently became serious "again" about running. The shoes I found in the back of my closet were starting to hurt my feet after my first week of running. I checked a local clothing store to see what kind of shoes they had and I found these. Putting them on I felt instantly that they were made just for me. I have narrow feet with a high arch. I wouldn't normally have bought anything without researching it first but I just couldn't believe how good they felt to my feet.I always wear size 11. I had New Balance size 11's before and these fit a little more snug, but, in my case perfect. I've run in these shoes 6 times now and they are pure comfort. I can lace these up tight and still have lots of adjustment available. The ball of my foot doesn't slide around in the shoe (like it did in my old shoe) so no hot spots. This shoe allows me to run without thinking about my feet at all. The mesh top lets in a lot of light.Hello I wanted to **update** my review. I've had these shoes for 8 months now. I run 3 times a week and the shoes are still perfect. I'm going to run my first 5k in them next month.
