Great Looper and Delay

I will start by saying that this is the first looper and delay that I have ever owned. I am not an expert and although I have been playing guitar for 15+ years, I have only recently started experimenting with effects pedals.Insofar as ease of use goes, I found this pedal to be pretty easy to use once I read through the manual. The biggest learning curve comes to figuring out the timing when recording a loop. Regardless of what looper you get, you will need to fine tune your timing to get it to do what you want.Overall the unit construction seems very solid. 99 loops is more than enough but there is the option to expand to 198 with an SDHC card which is quite nice.Lastly, the delay function is easy to use and can be synched with your loops at the same tempo making it even more useful in my opinion.I love the product and would buy it again if I had to. Great if you don't get the opportunity to play with people to often and really solid as a practice tool.

I've been playing guitar for over 15 years. I've recently formed a three piece band and I bought the JamMan Delay for gigs to fill in and add some depth in our rhythm section. It's pretty straight forward to use, and once you download the JamMananager software, loading backing tracks and such to the machine is a breeze. This is also a great tool for solo practice.Highly recommended.

good flexible pedal

I purchased this for the looper feature, but am pretty happy with both the looper and the very flexible delay features. I am running a Gibson 335 through an ocd overdrive, to the jamman, to a 65 deluxe reissue. Using good cable you can notice a signal degradation of the playback, but not of the live guitar...at least to my ear. It's a great practice tool. My main complaint would be the size makes it a bear to lug around and the playback quality while good could be better, live sounds great. For the money a great pedal and addition to my rig.
