Dont buy this lamp, too be good to be true

I received the lamp on time to replace the lamp in my Hitachi CP-X328. I took out the old lamp (which still worked, but I wanted to replace for better colour and brightness) and then put the new one in. I put it put back in place and turned the projector on. Nothing. I looked at the projector light and it was not turning the projector completely on. Then the lamp light turned on saying there was something wrong with the lamp or fan or both. Disappointed, I turned off the projector off and put the original lamp back in thinking that I had lost out on $63 and that it wasn't that big of a deal. But when I turned the projector on I still had the same problem! The projector wouldn't come completely on and the lamp light turned on as well. I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. I contacted the seller and they said my ballast is probably broken. I can't say for sure, but I am pretty certain that it was the new lamp that did this. Now I have to spend almost $100 for the ballast and still am using the old original lamp...

Bright Idea

This was the most affordable LCD lamp replacement we found for our projector. The image is much brighter and delivery was super fast. We appreciate the customer service for this lamp.

I would say this is a good value for what you get and the time it will take to burn out this bulb. It takes some time to use up this particular unit and the way it is used will determine how you can get your money's worth from it. It was a good purchase considering the price of other similar models.
