Product Description
These 500 LED video panel uses the 500 ultra bright, 5500K LED's and has an equivalent output of 500 watts of incandescent light yet draws about 100 watts. The 5500K daylight balanced LEDs offer a full spectrum, beautifully soft light.LED lights off significantly further "throw" than a comparable fluorescent light. This is because each of the 500 LED lights has a 30 degree beam angle lens that directs light forward. This beam angle creates a beam pattern that is useful from 1 - 15 feet.LED lights are ideal for location work because they are virtually shockproof and offer the brightest light in the smallest form factor.

Fantastic lights!

These lights are awesome! They are smaller, lighter, and way cooler than any other 500W light would be. The only thing I haven't figure out is the best case to get for my new LED light set. Typical lighting cases are built/shaped for lights with a totally different shape.I've used these on a couple of video shoots so far (product shoots, specifically), and they have absolutely done the job. LOVE THEM.

Good for the price

I received my lights very quickly, within 5 days. They feel well made, but the doors loosen fairly easily. It comes with a small wrench though. When I close the barn doors, the light has this odd banding effect.The light stands also feel well made, for the price. This makes a great travel light.Light output is good, and it generates virtually no heat. But the color of light is not 5600k. I have not been able to determine what the color temperature is on these lights, but I would guess that it is closer to 5200K.At $1000 less than any other competitor, I am happy with my purchase. I am certain I will buy the 1x1000 led light and use that as a key, and the two 500's as fill or possibly backlight.

This was a great light! I traveled with it internationally, and it was light and tough. Super bright, too. And the company shipped extremely fast. Overall, great experience.
