Nice little coop just a little flimsy

I received this yesterday for my small flock of 10 chicks, putting together was a snap, my 9 year old daughter and I did it. However, on first opening the box it smells really strong of cedar. Also be careful taking pieces out, I bumped one piece and a chip went flying. It also is flimsy. the wooded sides and fronts are not thick. the heaviest part is the roof. the doors are held shut with little heart shaped door stoppers that screw in. I think i would have liked to have had a closure or slide lock on them.All in all a cute little coop.

easy to construct and cute

I bought this little house for my little pullets. It went together very easily, it looks nice (I've landscaped it: primroses with a background of lemon balm surround three sides). I've also got the Ware chicken run attached to the house, which makes a very nice little yard for the pullets until they are big enough to free range.
