Does the trick!

I ordered this hitch a couple of weeks ago and installed it over the weekend. This hitch is perfect if you are looking for a basic hitch that will do the trick. I do not intend to do any towing with this hitch. The only reason I installed it is for my bike rack. It passed the test with flying colors! The hitch looks like it is very well constructed and the instructions were pretty straight forward. However, be prepared to spend a little more time than what the manufacturer states. On my 2010 Impreza Outback Sport I needed to open up 2 of the holes in the frame with a carbide cutter on a die-grinder. Also, once the bolts are fished up inside of the frame you need to align the hitch with all 4 of the bolts without pushing them up into the frame. (That would be VERY BAD!) It was a little challenging to install it myself because of this issue. I would recommend getting a second set of hands when you get to this point. I ended up attaching a locking clip (that I made out of safety wire) on each bolt so they would stay in place, then pulled them off before I tightened the nuts. This worked out great! Also, you will be able to see this hitch once it is installed, unlike the "hidden hitch." This hitch worked out perfect for me and it cost under $100.00. I would recommend this product.

All the bolt holes line up great. You do have to drill holes in your frame but for the only reason of installing the carriage bolt mounting brackets. Comes with all required hardware. Installed in one hour without raising the vehicle.
