You can't go wrong with the Steffie sculpt!

Keeping in mind that these Barbie Basics were designed as Barbie Collector items, and not as children's toys, I think this doll is one of the loveliest in the line so far. I've always been a fan of the Steffie/PJ head mold, and this one is more than beautiful. You can check out my real-life photo of her, which is even more gorgeous than her promo photo.Her facial screening is simply delightful: Model 003 Target exclusive is runway ready. Her shimmering brown and gold make-up accents her blue and gold eyes and super-long lashes incredibly, and her pale lips are done in today's accent-on-feature style. Her chestnut hair is long, with the front in a side part and pulled back out of her face.This doll is on a Model Muse body, which limits her play-ability, but is lovely for the collector. Again, she makes a great collectible doll, and fun to dress (especially with the Accessory packs that are also available for the Barbie Basic collections), but she can't bend her knees and arms like playline Barbies can. I'd go for a Fashionista style Barbie if you're looking for a gift for a younger girl.That being said, I'm only a little embarrassed to admit how much fun I've been having "playing" with mine and her accessory pack! And I'm 37. ;)
