Mixed feelings / Here's the scoop...

Ok first, the quality of the hoops it absolutely NOT the same as the Brother hoops! The most notable difference is the bolt used to cinch the the outer hoop tight over fabric. One of them was falling apart upon arrival. I will be taking the bolts to Home Depot for all metal replacements in a short time I imagine. The clear plastic guides are a problem too. The largest one doesn't even fit into the hoop and the smaller two have guidelines that don't match the stitch area for my Brother LB6800 machine. Not a huge deal, but it sure would have been nicer if I could have used the giudes. And, finally the plastic wasn't molded very well (seams that poke up), the hash marks for top and bottom alignment don't line up, and it appears to be a more brittle plastic than my Brother hoop.I've decided that I am okay with the quality differences because I certainly would not have gotten 3 hoops for this price had I brought Brother hoops. My main problem lies in that the large hoop (for which I mainly bought this entire package) is defective. The inner hoop is warped in a convex manner and doesn't stay in the outer hoop. I've sent a note to the supplier and will update this review with news of how they handle the defective part. I might even decide to change my rating to 4 starts if I can get the damaged piece replaced promptly because as I mention it was a pretty good price.The quality of the thread and scissors appears to be fine... I don't have any complaints. The threads are very nice, vibrant and good everyday, useable colors. The little scissors and case actually impressed me... far nicer than expected!

I ordered this at the same time that I ordered the Brother SE-400 sewing and embroidery machine. The quality is good for everything in this and the thread sent was really nice colors. Nice package deal.

Great attachements

Since I was new to this embroidery machine I also purchased the additional attachements and am I glad I did. It was great to have some thread colors and the large hoop is invaluable.
