Product Description
All Curt hitches feature WeatherTite construction, which prevents rusting from the inside out by sealing the main body of the hitch. The receiver tube has an open back end to allow for easy cleaning and for dirt and moisture to pass through and not get trapped as is common with other brands of hitches. Great. And then some...

I looked up this product when trying to expand the cargo area of the Patriot. I needed to add a metal cargo carrier to the rear. My wife's Patriot did not come with a stock hitch. Dealership quoted $350 to install one. Found this on Amazon for $65 INCLUDING shipping. A true steal. Arrived at the house in 4 days. Installed in 10 minutes. 4 bolts and a torque wrench later... perfect. Couldn't ask for a higher quality product at a better price. Add in the ease of installation and you have one great combination. Comes with a "Euro" style ball mount should we ever need to tow a small U-Haul, etc.

Fit Great on My Jeep Patriot

I bought this hitch for my Jeep Patriot and installed it myself. Installation time was about an hour and was pretty simple and straightforward. The hitch looks good and functions well. I believe the price was very competitive against the competition and I am happy with my purchase.
