Solid tow hitch

I have owned Draw-Tite, Reese, and U-Haul hitches. This Curt hitch appears to be of equal quality. I did the installation by myself with some difficulty. It would have been much easier with a helper. You need a good powerful drill motor and a 1/2-inch bit. I used (borrowed) a 1/2" titanium bit with a 3/8" shank. Beware of HOT bits of metal falling on your hands, arms, face. Protective equipment is a good idea. The bolt threading wires that are supplied are essential for getting the bolts in place after drilling. I installed this on a 2011 Chevy Malibu.
