The M21 Reflex sight provides constant, all-light aiming capability, without batteries. Designed through close collaboration with Israeli Special Forces, the M21 was the first reflex sight in the world designed for close quarter combat. It is battle proven, reflexive to use, deadly accurate, and totally reliable. The M21 features a large 30mm diameter lens which allows rapid target acquisition with both eyes open. Reticle illumination is achieved by a protected fiber optic light collector system during the day, and by a miniature self-powered tritium light source at night. Transition between the two systems is instantaneous and automatic to assure good contrast between the aiming dot and the target area. The M21 is night vision compatible. This reflex sight offers shooters the ability to acquire targets accurately at any range, in any situation, with both eyes open. It is also designed to work with a magnifier. Very nice reflex sight

Pros:- bullseye reticle works great- always on, no batteries to worry about- no brightness settings to adjust- holds zero perfectly- quick target acquisition- works well with my cheap (primary arms) 3x magnifier- easy to see in daylight and darkness- appears to be built like a tank- I have a minor astigmatism and I can see the reticle perfectlyCons:- can get washed out with very bright light (I have a surefire scout light on my rail that can was out the reticle)- can have trouble when veiwing outside in bright day light from inside (not a very practical test)- reticle is not as sharp or precise as an eotech circle with dot- weighs a lot and takes up a lot of rail spaceI am very happy with this optic. I love that it is always on and ready day or night. I don't have to turn it on, worry about dead batteries or adjust brightness. It is a little pricey and not as nice a reticle, but it works great for me and I couldn't be much happier. Quick and easy two eyed target acquisition and a lot of fun to shoot with. I like the bullseye reticle a lot better than the standard red dot type sights (just not as much as an eotech).

I have owned mine for about 5 or 6 years.. Mine came with mounts,I have never had any issues with holding zero. Minor adjustments a few times over the years.It has not had an easy life. with almost daily use in a police cruiser,it lives in a Pelican Case. But it has some miles on it. I have probably put 1000-1200 rounds through the gun with this system on it. Qualifications and weekends in the country with the kids.Deployed on probably a hundred calls over the years. Dropped,dunked, Fell on, Sat on. No Problems. What convinced me to buy one in the 1st place was a Demo at the NRA show at the Kimber/Meprolight booth with one of these units with a shattered lens and bent case,that was still FULLY functional (but no longer watertight) The thing that I love about it is I don't have to worry about battery changes, brightness settings, or loosing covers or keeping it covered like some of the other high end units.. It is a great Pro Quality tool.. Are their better units.. Yes, but they cost more than this one does, and you still have to change batteries.

Works as advertised. Comes with a protective stretch neoprene cover. Only downside to the non-powered concept is if you're shooting from a dark area into broad daylight, or vice versa. Sight reticle can be a little too dim or bright under certain unusual circumstances. I'm thinking about building a simple cover with LED slide operated to allow me to block ambient light or provide artificial ambient. But that is a quibble.
