Good System

I run an Assisted Living Facility and I use these pendants for all my residents. They work great, have reasonable range and I like the fact that I can talk. One small negative is that when there are multiple pendants and a resident calls for help, the unit does not identify which pendant has called. I know that it knows because it will announce the pendant number when a battery needs to be recharged (about once every month and half). Relatively easy to install and set up. Overall, very happy with my order.

Purchase made due to parents moving in because of medical issues. Easy to program in the phone numbers. I like the feature that the call 911 feature can easily be turned on/off with a slide of the base station slide switch. Nice feature is the battery monitoring feature as well as spare battery enclosed charger. Batter life definitely works when pendant gets low. It is really cool that the base station when it calls a programmed number the recipient must key in the 5 key to pick up and go live. If recipient does not do this station treats as if getting a voice mail greeting and goes to the next prog number. It is also great that the pendants are actually mini walkie talkies so person does not need to be in a room with the base station. Pendant even acts like cordless phone and allow the pendant wearer the ability to pick up an incoming call. Why would anyone pay a monthly fee for remote service? O By the way the only open question is to see if the pendant battery charges lasts the stated 4months.....we are at two months and counting.
