2I was so happy YES was! Please read the whole review.
By R. Baxter
Well I purchased the B0 ball head and am super satisfied with it a 5 star review. When it came to purchasing a backpacking tripod I chose this one that was a little heavier than the smaller model because it came with the B1 Ballhead. The tripod is wonderfull another 5 star review. The B1 Ballhead is defective and Benro said it was within spec. Well there speck is garbage then. It takes 100% more effort to move it one way than the other. This means that with heavy gear it falls under its own weight but you can not move it back without changing the tension so nothing breaks. Yes it is that bad. I really dont care that it was bad things happen. But please stand behind your products. This was not a 12.99 item it was expensive for a paper weight.Sorry to Benro but I dont have the time to fight with them more than once. I am not going to get cought up in a shipping war sending it back 3 or 4 times so I will wright this review and buy another brand.Robert

3great tripod - shame about the head
By Thomas J. Mcphillips
The tripod design is perfect - the head is another matter altogether. As other reviews note, the thing refuses to move even when everything is loose, there's no ring to tighten the bolt with, I had to make sure I was carrying a coin to tighten it properly, however, it doesn't stay tight, and within minutes of repositioning a few times the camera was loose, and the plate had to be retightened. At first I thought the non-quick release design was a good thing, I've had many quick releases jam over the years, but I quickly lost patience with the lack of positive feel as I removed and replaced the camera in normal use, it doesn't just "work" the way such things are supposed to.So I'm looking around for another head, and wishing I could buy the tripod without the head, and wishing I could get a refund for the useless bit of gear that the tripod comes with...

5Benro C2691T Travel Angel Transfunctional Tripod Kit
By David M. Johnson
I received my Benro C2691T Travel Angel Transfunctional Tripod Kit (it includes the Benro B1 Ball Head) this evening. The design, engineering and manufacturing are phenomenal. I am amazed by how compactly it folds up and how easy it is to use. I can hardly wait to put it to use tomorrow. I only wish I had purchased it before the two full size tripods, one carbon fiber, I purchased previously. If I had two cars, I'd buy another one!O.K. Did I mention the kit comes with a quick release clamp and base plate? The description of this product is a little confusing as it says the kits come with the rubber feet OR the spiked metal feet. The kit actually comes with the rubber feet attached AND spiked metal "feet" in the inner zippered pocket of the supplied carrying case, which is very sturdy. I'd rate this kit 6 stars if I could. And, no, I do not have stock or ownership in Benro. So, I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I extended the tripod, attached the quick release base plate to my Canon S100 and took a bunch of photos at different ISO settings, shutter speeds, and apertures. Tomorrow I'll try the tripod out with my Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L II IS USM Telephoto Zoom Len. I have no doubt the tripod will be rock solid even with that rig on it, although I may have to hang my camera bag from the well-designed and welcome, spring-loaded retractable hook on the bottom of the tripod column. :-)
