Nice Suit!

This suit is truly lovely. Great fabric, nice feel and very well made. I had to return and try another brand since the "rise" is too short for me. Size of jacket was great! and fit perfectly. Waist size was also spot on, just the rise was too low for my comfort. If you prefer to wear your pants below your normal waist this would be a really great suit for you, just not my cup of tea. I will purchase another suit from them (different brand) since the fabric/construction was great.

Exceptional deal

Having moved from Los Angeles to Des Moines, I found my dress clothes options severely limited. Some friends suggested I look at some online men's suit options, and I came across this suit. At $180, I figured it would be a low-cost risk.Today I went to the tailor's to get it altered (pants hemmed, jacket tapered slightly). He commented on its quality, and when I told him how much I paid, he was shocked ("Wooooooow--that's a good deal, man").Note that the waist size is a bit smaller in proportion to the jacket size than in most suits. This actually saved me money on alterations, since I'm a 40R but a 32W, but just keep in mind the pants size differential will be 8" rather than 6".If you're not sure whether it's worth the gamble shopping for a suit online, I recommend you try this seller: the risk is small, but the potential payoff is high.

The only thing I'm unsure of is the material the buttons are made from. I don't think they are tortise shell. Really a nice suit though. It had: lined pants to knee, felt backed collar, hand picked stitching, fit right so the hand done button holes worked well. Search forbes dot com for "Anatomy of a well-cut suit" then check this. I bought two other items from this vendor, a lighter colored and weight summer suit, and a sport coat. All exceeded my expectations.
