Fantastic Solution and Fanatical Tech Support

This product for me really was the equivalent of a "hole in the wall" restaurant find. There aren't many reviews, and they have little brand recognition from what I could have known. The only reason why I bought this product was because of the extensive user manuals/videos found online from their website. (as well as the possibility of a return)You think for the relatively low price, you wouldn't get too much, but I've been blown away by the quality of the hardware, as well as the software. The software isn't the most intuitive off the bat, though once you learn it it's quite easy and also has some powerful features.I wish I knew earlier into the setup process, of their ridicules customer support. I've never waited more than 30 seconds, and the people who answer the phones actually know the ins and outs of the system. If you're curious I'd recommend googling the fingertec usa website, and calling their phone number (It's the same line, and I can only assume sales is as good as support). The fingertec .com , is the international website, and I wouldn't recommend looking at that one.One time I called (shortly after my purchase), the support guy was curious to why I purchased one of their older models that they were phasing out. Without any request from me, he offered to arrange for a upgrade to a newer model (this one). (I know what you're thinking but no, with the cost of shipping there was no way they were making any extra $$ to arrange for the upgrade). In fact the cost of my old model plus the cost of the upgrade, ended up being less than I could have bought otherwise.The hardware itself works great, (the keys sometimes have a delay, though you rarely need to use those after setup). Fingerprint recognition is spot on with rarely few redo's unless the person really is doing it wrong. Tech support was able to show me how to install it onto my server, so I can now have someone in one office do payroll calculation, while the shop manager can make changes to the worker time log in another. They don't even advertise this, though it works perfectly.

This worked Great! We have since gone with WiFi. The TA200PLUSEW is a better upgrade and we are currently using both.

A good solution for us

This system works well. It usually recognizes the fingerprints well, but sometimes the person needs to give it more than one try, and rarely more than five tries (which is why I gave it a 4 star rating). It is not that easy to install, but the customer service is outstanding, and when you call in they set up everything for you ( so you really do not need to worry about figuring it out ). I have also called just because i didn't have the time to figure out how to make some reports, and again, they guided me through immediately, and I had my reports in minutes. Just for the fact that it works pretty well and for the impressive customer service, I can say I do recommend this product to any small business like mine.
